Paintball Gun Upgrades
What paintball gun upgrades should you get?
That depends on your paintball gun.
The best thing you can do, is test out your paintball gun first. Too many players buy a paintball gun, and then decide on upgrades before testing out there gun.
How can you know what improvements your paintball gun will need, if you don't test it out?
So first off, buy some paintballs, and spend a day at the fields with NO paintball gun upgrades.
Then consider these…
A paintball chronograph measures the velocity of your paintballs, and also tracks the amount of bps your gun can fire.
This product is extremely useful. You need to know the velocity of your gun, because paintball fields have velocity limits. In order to have your paintball marker shooting at an optimal speed. You should make sure your marker fires a velocity just below the paintball field restrictions. (usually 280 fps).
If the accuracy of your paintball gun is a little off, it may benefit you to purchase an improved paintball barrel.
Paintball barrels are one of the cheapest paintball marker upgrades you can buy. But they can also have a significant impact on the accuracy of your paintball gun.
Unless I am absolutely positive that my paintball marker does not need it, I almost always decide to upgrade my barrel.
It's too cheap and too beneficial to pass up.
In terms of which brands you should buy. The big name brands, such as Bob Long, etc. Will cost you more than you need to pay. If you don't want to spend as much money, I recommend the custom products paintball brand. They're cheap, but decent quality.
Grenade Launcher Attachment
This is by no means a must buy product, but it is ridiculously awesome.
If you're a Call Of Duty video gamer, then you've most likely used the grenade launcher attachment on one of your modern warfare weapons.
You can attach one of these to your own paintball marker, and it will work like a charm. In close range combat, your opponents will be f-ed. And an added on grenade launcher attachment does not cost as much as you'd think.
How much would you be willing to pay for a grenade launcher option on your paintball gun?
probably a lot more than $175, which is what a grenade launcher attachment will cost you.
