Good Or Bad?

Fully automatic paintball guns are expensive and powerful. But are they a waste of money?

Well, they will allow you to fire a continuous stream of paintballs at your opponents. All you have to do is simply hold down the paintball trigger and a hoard of paintballs will blow in the direction of your paintball barrel.

Pretty cool beans!

Mechanical paintball guns, on the other hand, do not have this function. If you were to use a mechanical paintball gun, you would have to press down the trigger, each and every time, in order to fire a paintball.

This process can be slow, and relatively ineffective in paintball games. Sure, if you have really good accuracy, and pick your shots wisely, a mechanical paintball player can do alright.

But more often than not, the player with a fully automatic paintball guns will prevail.

Reasons why they're hated!

Fully auto paintball markers are never disliked because they are not efficient.To the contrary, some players 'hate' these guns because they are too powerful.

If you matched up a player with a mechanical paintball marker against a player with an auto gun. The player with the auto gun would have a ridiculous advantage.

If the skill sets of the two paintball players was relatively even, then the player with the fully automatic paintball marker would win 9 times out of 10. Maybe even more!

For this reason, some players feel that automatic markers take the fun and skill out of the game. It has now become popular to be able to win with a non-automatic gun.

Which means that these guns are used less and less… but not because they suck. Because they are TOO rad!

Sidenote

These paintball guns also tend to be a lot more expensive than other alternatives.

Beginner and intermediate paintball players do not want to spend thousands of dollars for a suped up automatic gun.

Instead, most of us would prefer a good quality cheap paintball marker And for that, you'll be purchasing a semi automatic or pump paintball gun. which is cool. Because as we've already discussed, it is the more skilled thing to do!
