Best Paintball Gun

I looked around the net to see if there was a consensus about what is considered the best paintball gun. What I found was a bunch of internet marketers trying to promote their particular paintball product.

For example, I saw a post that audaciously suggest that PMI paintball markers are the best… give me a break! Sure, PMI has created some fantastic products. But no serious paintball player would consider them the best.

I then found out that the poster was simply an affiliate for PMI paintball products. Go figure! He only wanted money from his readers.

lets take an unbiased approach.

The answer

The answer depends on whether you are looking for the 'best value' paintball marker, or just the BEST period.

If you're looking for the best bang for you buck, the Tippmann A-5 wins, and it's not even close.

In a paintball gun survey of the most popular paintball gun, the Tippmann A-5 has over 3 times as many votes as the the 2nd place finisher. Which is the Bob Long Intimidator.

What an absolute beauty of a gun. The inspiration of its design comes from the Heckler and Kock MP5K sub machine gun.

It has a built in velocity adjuster, and can be set to fully automatic or semi automatic.

It has very consistent accuracy, which is to be expected.

And comes standard with a 15 bps feed rate and fire rate.

Both of those rates can be significantly increased with Cyclone upgrades.

When fully upgraded, the Tippmann A-5 is easily the best paintball gun.

With all Cyclone upgrades, this gun can reach 30 bps, which is simply unmatched. No other paintball gun can compete. And many of the paintball markers that can, suffer significant accuracy inconsistencies at high bps settings.

Best Paintball Guns For Your Buck

This all being said, The Tippmann A-5 is fairly cheap. It is the best for those of us on a budget. Some of us are simply looking for the best marker period.
